Biographie

Bernhard Minetti war ein deutscher Theater- und Filmschauspieler. 1930 stand er in Der Mörder Dimitri Karamasoff erstmals vor der Kamera und wirkte ein Jahr später in Piel Jutzis Romanverfilmung Berlin – Alexanderplatz mit. 1940 verkörperte er in dem NS-Propagandafilm Die Rothschilds den französischen Politiker Joseph Fouché. Im selben Jahr begannen die Dreharbeiten zu Leni Riefenstahls Film Tiefland, der jedoch erst 1954 uraufgeführt wurde. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg fand Minetti Theater-Engagements zunächst in Kiel, Hamburg und Frankfurt am Main und kam schließlich ans Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. In den 1970er Jahren feierte er als Charkterdarsteller große Erfolge im Schillertheater in Berlin. Im Kino war er nur noch gelegentlich zu sehen. Er übernahm meist kleinere Rollen. So war er 1959 neben Hansjörg Felmy und Johanna von Koczian in Franz Peter Wirths Menschen im Netz zu sehen und arbeitete in zwei Filmen mit Ulrich Schamoni zusammen. 1978 erhielt er eine Rolle in Peter Handkes Die linkshändige Frau.
